Annual Awards Recital 2017 Session Schedule

Our recitals are designed to help the students become comfortable and confident in sharing their music in front of an audience. Recitals are not compulsory, but we highly encourage our students to participate. We host two annual recitals - one in May and one in November. Awards, incentives and abundant encouragement is given to each student. The recitals are several 60-90 minute sessions spread out over the course of a Friday and Saturday. The sessions times keep our audiences in a much less intimidating size for our performers. After each session, there is a small cookie and punch party. Friends and family are welcome to attend!

Open-Mic Nights

Open-Mic Nights are the perfect chance for students to practice performing in a relaxed atmosphere. Family and friends are encouraged to attend. There is no charge for Open-Mic Nights. Come & Enjoy!

Bring your children and their friends for a fun-filled night! Singing, games, treats, pizza, movies & fun, fun, fun! Overnighters are for children ages: 4 yrs - 12 yrs. (Younger children must be potty trained.) Fee is $20 per child. Sign up to bring something from our supply list and get $3 off! Permission slips and more information can be found at the front desk. Non-students are welcome to attend! *Children need to bring pillows and blankets.

Over the summer, we march in parades for the Roscoe, Rockton and Machesney Park areas. We usually ask for volunteers to march in the parade with us to pass out candy and perform - we have an awesome float set up that allows us to perform as we move! Keep an eye out on our Facebook or in the studio itself for sign up sheets!

Community Performances

Every March, we participate in the RoRo Expo and Kidabaloo. A number of students perform and it's a great way to not only show off what they've learned so far, but to get them used to performing in front of crowds! If you're interested in seeing what our students can do, this is a great time to see it!
